softies for mirabel...

I don't really have any experience sewing up softies but I do want to contribute to the softies for mirabel appeal, so I decided to keep it simple. I'm making a cushion girl.

Here's my work in progress

I'm stuck on the 'face'. Can anyone help me with the eyes...

Marcel also asked me to post something for him (get your own blog) since he's so proud of it. It's his portfolio which he shot at the Melbourne Museum. The one that's currently showing at First Site Gallery on Swanston street.

Nice blog!

Maybe you can get some ideas for a face here;

For the eyes you could try a small circle of felt with a cross stitch in the middle to secure it? I took a look at the portfolio.. wow!! its extremely impressive.

How gorgeous. Can't wait to see what you do with the eyes. I like the sound of the above suggestion actually!
I also loved your post about the Meet Me At Mikes night - your work is beautiful. You just might be able to talk me into joining in! Eventually!
