More 'trial' photography...

... I made this Japanese inspired bag a few weeks ago and wanted to practise using my camera a bit more. I opened up my Japanese craft magazines and with inspiration from their photos I tried to set it up with props etc. I still have a long way to go, but it's fun setting up for photo shoots. I should ask Marcel to help me...

oh and I've been ironing that linen underneath for about half an hour and can't get the creases out...any tips?

Linen is best ironed crease-free if you spray it real moist, roll up and keep in a plastic bag for at least half an hour. Then iron with a hot iron (three points). It still takes time but usually works.

Yup.

Get yourself a water sprayer - it'll change your ironing life! Linen definately won't behave without it.... I usually just spray a fine mist over the fabric while ironing with a really hot iron.

Good luck!

I have the same issues with some of my cottens. No matter how much I iron those bloody creases will not come out. My iron as a steamer, but still no luck.

Great bag btw. I'm trying to photograph my own right now that I just made. It's not easy.

Yes, I use a fine mist of water as I'm ironing, too. Otherwise you could be there for hours with no real effect!
