I picked up some colour sample swatches from the printer today... the story behind these colours is that I decided to jump out of my comfort zone and get some sample colours mixed in pastel tints...because there are people that like pastel colours...right? The colours are printed on a lighter base cloth of organic cotton and hemp. I'm not a pastel girl at all, but I'm quite happy with these swatches...what do you think?
still promoting the sale...and the Bamakko exhibition...

I think that they are beautiful, Bianca - (I am a pastel girl). I like the green pink and blue the best.
I would not have thought I was a pastel person, but I really love these colours! They are a refreshing change. I would by them all, I think....
Those colours look very cooling. I like the 'blue' and 'purple'.
Half of me is a pastel person and likes these very very much. The other half of me is a black and white with splashes of hot pink or red person and still likes these very very much. Ya done good.
lovely! i have two little girls that i love to sew for....so...i love me some pastels :)
Mmmmmm, these look good enough to eat :)
I really love the purple!
I just love colour, and I really love your pastels. Great colour choices!
Lets call these "dusty" colours. They're all beautiful.
I really like the green and the blue the best, although the pink and the green would likely be nice together.
hehe i like katie's suggestion of calling them 'dusty' colours! better connotations I reckon :)
I'm not that much of a pastel girl either but I do like them a lot. Except perhaps the purple, I've always struggled with that colour!
I wouldn't have thought I was into pastels but I actually really like your samples, they look nice and fresh.
I like them too. Together they look great and it would be hard to decide for only one of them.
Pastel colours make me think of something sweet like icecream or candy, but these are...dusty colours, absolutely cool for us non-pastel persons
They are so beautiful together! I think if you made a smaller motif with the pastel colors, they'd be a hit. :)
