I've never had my own website...only the blog...but a few weeks ago I opened up Dreamweaver for the first time. I have to say, it looked a little scary at first, probably because I have no experience building websites and had never created anything in Dreamweaver.
Well, here is the result (after at least 10 different versions) and although it's not very flashy and super basic...I'm quite proud of myself. At least it works ;)
I still have a long way to go figuring out how to build a fancy website, but that's what I have a book for.
I've also been doodling with fonts...printing it...seeing what it looks like framed etc. Am trying to put some prints together for my little nook at the studio. Etsy has been a great help, but I also want something simple...something with words...

The new website looks great. Nice work with Dreamweaver!
Your website looks great Bianca! Well done!! I'm playing with Dreamweaver at the moment too...it's always good to learn something new :)
You've done a great job! That's the way I started too - although must admit, I haven't gotten very far :) But be careful, because everyone will want you to build their websites now!!
It looks great! I prefer simple websites over fancy ones :) Dreamweaver is quite scary tho.. I used it a couple of times for some basic stuff, and now I'm scared that I've forgotten how to use it!
You did a fantastic job for someone who doesn't know how to do it!
well done!
Looks just right Bianca! I've been Dreamweaver-ing for about 10 years, and I'm still learning new things!!! I just try not to overthink my objectives.
I did a web design course in April, but started the blog in March hoping it would help overall to be able to navigate and understand some of the lingo of the online world. It did, so much so that after two intense days with Dreamweaver, I decided to stick to the blog. Well done you for making a site of your very own.
Congrats on the dive into dreamweaver. I've been meaning to get into it for years but just keep putting it off. Well done. Happy decorating your nook at ink and spindle.
What a great job you've done with your website! A big congratulations - a lot of work!
Enjoy your Dreamweaving... it can feel like such a clunky programme, don't you think?
I am off to check out your site... it looks super from the preview.
I love the ampersand in the logo...as for the website the simpler the better I think and good on you for having a shot yourself...I have dreamweaver and have never opened it; I fear my family will abandon me if I spend anymore time on the mac but you make it very tempting - well done! T x
