the waifs...
Yay, we went to see the waifs tonight...they're my favourite band on the planet...they were absolutely fantastic! And guess what I scored...didn't they say yellow is in fashion?
We also bought Abby Dobson's cd, called Rise up. She opened tonight's show and she's absolutely great.

oooooh, i love the waifs too! didn't even know they were playing, sorry i missed them... i saw them play in byron bay about 4 years ago and then at the point nepean festival last april - so amazingly great both times. love the shirt, too, yellow rocks!

I was introduced to the Waifs by wonderful Emma whom I met on a train to Sorrento 10 years back... I mailed her Ani DiFranco from the States and she mailed me the Waifs from down there... and here I am cruising gorgeous fabric and finding fond musical memories...
are they somehow connected?
