not much to tell...

...things are pretty steady. My new job is great, I'm learning a lot of new things, get to know heaps of new people and I have Thursday & Friday all to myself.

Today's weather has been crazy. Trees are crashing down all over Melbourne and some people got hurt because of crazy hurricane like winds.

Thankfully our postman did make it to the mailbox to drop off this gorgeous package from Kaija. Thanks so much, I absolutely love it!

I found this beauty at the op-shop last week...for a mere $25!!! Of course I'm going to rip off the fabric and put something nice on it...but don't ask me when...most likely next month. I've got a picture in my mind of what it'll look like after I'm done with it. More on that later.

Tomorrow I have to really get my act together and work on my new designs as well as re-printing some oldies...as my fabric has finally arrived from the supplier.
It's kinda hard this week as Marcel is working night shifts and he sleeps during the day...which he finds very hard as it is, let alone with me being at home. It's good that it only lasts one week and then it's back to normal daytime hours. Our departure date is not long from now...I'm really looking forward to it.

I LOVE that two seater couch, covers & all! Looks like it's in great condition.

I will have to get back to you on the name of the Cafe, I will be in the city tomorrow so I'll be sure to pop in and grab a card. Enjoy your day tomorrow!

Can't wait to see what you do with the 2 seater.

You're most welcome! I'm glad you like it :)

Your 2 seater looks wonderful! I've been dreaming of a small, 50's style couch, but they all seem to be outrageously expensive. One day I'll find my dream couch, I'm sure. It just may take a little while.

I'm not sure what I think of my new job, as today was only the second day there. I guess it's pretty nice in there, but it has been very tiring to learn new things, new places and new faces. After my six months I'll probably miss it.

That lounge is a good find. I can see the potential. Several times a week I walk past two single seaters of a similar style. They're on an old fellas front porch and I never ever see anyone sitting in them. I am tempted to go and "make an offer".

I love Paperiaarre... I was lucky enough to win a little pack from Kaija a while back, and I love it... too nice to use! :o)
