On Sunday I'll go to the second, and last, session of my textile design course and our teacher gave us homework. Here's what I've been working on...I'm still trying to get it perfectly lined up as the scan lines are not as accurate as the actual drawing, but I'm getting there.

I love the bottles! Gorgeous!
I think the bottles look fabulous as a fabric pattern! Wonderful work!
Also, just curious - is this a CAE course that you're doing?
Oh wow I love that! Will this be a fabric?
hey thats very cool! seemingly a bit of a departure from your style too? are you going to make it into a fabric?
This design looks great, I really like it. Are you doing the course at CAE?
ohh- that's fantastic! i love your bottles design. you're a clever one! :)
I love this design, looks great!
wow, this is really neat! and yes, it does seem a bit different from your usual style. but i like it!
Drawing patterns in pencil sounds a bit daunting to me. This bottle pattern is inspired. Lovely! Thanks for visiting my blog.
i was looking at a mag today and saw the most beautiful pic of some bottles which really got my creative juices flowing....then I had a life/mother moment that stopped it all. the story of my life.
I'm jealous that you can get to do these courses!
looking good! Nice to see more of an illustrative side to your work.
Something secretly serene about this pattern.
I really like this print. The bottles and flowers work really nicely together. Very happy to hear you enjoyed my blog too :)
This is a great print. I can see it as pillows and as lampshades. I too am Jealous of your design course! Being in Japan, it's a little difficult. By any chance can you direct us to some 'how to' books on textile design? I'm sure one will be coming out soon anyway.
Cheers!!
Love this design - very clever!
I love the linear movement - great design!
Love the bottles... will be NEEDING a fabric printed with that, methinks!
