I'm feeling a bit like the way
Lara felt a while ago...a bit down. I'm still not a 100% sure why but I think it's a mix of 'missing Holland after such a wonderful time', 'settling back in', 'getting used to cold cold Melbourne', 'Marcel being away most weekends', 'work frustrations', and for me this leads to creative frustration.
I don't want to make this blog the place where I dump my daily frustrations, but I feel the need to explain the reasons for my short and mostly visual blog updates from the last few weeks.
In my head I have a 100 things that I want to complete but I only have two hands and limited time. Number one will be to finish my
quilt, which still only consists of cut pieces.
On another note, I really need to get back into blogging...and with that I mean commenting. I feel I have lost touch with a lot of you after coming back from my holiday (not that 100's of blog posts are easy to get through). So from now on I'm going to try really hard.
I do have one exciting thing to tell you...Yesterday I started my first lesson (of the two) in Textile Design. It was very interesting as they took me back to basics, back to before computers existed and everything was hand drawn on graph paper...trying to figure out how to make a repeat pattern. It was fun, although I looove the computer. Ctrl + Z just works better for me than a rubber ;)
Guess that's it then...I feel better already...thanks for 'listening'.
a Mattt bag...the present I gave my mum for mothers day. My auntie requested one too with this fabric and it just arrived in Holland, she's super happy with it.
