spring clean...

I'm having a spring clean... in my shop... snap up some fabric at bargain prices... Very limited edition as I won't print this pattern anymore...



If you're waiting for my new patterns, I will print them soon but have some big projects coming up so I'm not sure when they'll be available. It might be in December.

sewing, working & a date...

it has been a while since my last post but that doesn't mean I haven't been busy. The busy-ness was mostly work though...a full week last week. I offered to work full-time as we had an information day for our 2nd semester courses on Thursday and the acceptance letters had to be sent out on Friday. So it wasn't just my normal Mon - Weds week and I have to say that it was a hard week...I'm just not really used to the full-time working week any more and I really love working part-time.

In between working and sleeping I've been sewing...

Today I'm going on 'a date' with my lovely boyfriend :) I really wanted to go on a mini-trip but with today's petrol prices it's basically impossible so we'll be visiting the Immigration Museum in the city today. I'm very excited because I really love the history of immigrants (being one myself) and they also have an exhibition of Kimono's on.

I just updated the sale in my shop and even put some fabric up for sale...

... and I have also added a mailing list option in my sidebar. Newsletters will be sent out monthly and contain fabric updates, pattern design, new products, shop updates, sales and events.

I also discovered a new etsy shop and blog. Some of you might already be familiar with Megan's work but I wasn't and I totally love her work. Megan is an illustrator from Swansea in the UK. She started her blog and etsy shop in September 2007 and is very popular already. Thought I should share it with you...
