The best photo of the whole series...my new fabric...yay!

I had fun doing this 30 day thing, although I did find it quite difficult at times. I don't really have an exciting life...I figured out :( I go to work, come home, craft, go to bed, etc etc. I enjoyed looking at other people's photos, it's fun to share bits and pieces of your life.

Marcel picked up the new fabrics for me today, while I was at home with a tummy bug :( and I couldn't really stay in bed all day so we (Marcel's the best helper) listed the fabric in the shop...go have a look...It's printed on the same base cloth Lara uses. The natural one. Thanks Lara!

I also got nominated, again, for a 'you make my day award' by Kotkarankki and Mizu Designs. Thank you both so much, it made my day for sure! Since I nominated five bloggers a few days ago, I won't do it again...

Bridget from Brid Bird tagged me...and I'm not forgetting about this...I just need some time to think about it so more about that later. In the meantime, have a look at Bridget's 7 facts...it's amazing in how many countries she's lived.

the last of my first batch of olive & choc swirl fabric packs are up in the shop now, I will not print on this fabric anymore so this lot is the last of its kind...

A custom order I just finished

Me & Lara also went to the Melbourne etsy meet today, which was fun. It was a great sunny day and everyone made or bought lots of yummie food (unfortunately the ants thought the same thing). It was great to meet everyone :)

homemade choc chip macademia cookies

One of Marcel's friends from Sydney stayed with us last night as she was in Melbourne for the Australian Open...and they decided to bake cookies during the Hewitt & Bagdatis match...well not till 4.30am but till about 2am. The cookies look a little bit funny but they taste delicious...crunchy on the outside, chewy on the inside...yum.

She spent the day at the tennis, watching Federer as the last match of the day, while we had a Peking duck dinner with friends. I never had a Peking duck dinner before and I have to say it's an interesting experience and it tastes really good.

...and our new mattress got delivered yesterday... I had the best nights sleep ever, even though it was so short.
I also spent a lot of time cutting fabric & sewing yesterday...I got a whole lot done and it feels awesome. I have a new goal for the year, which is starting every Saturday like yesterday...getting up early to go to the South Melbourne markets at 9am. I couldn't believe it was so quiet...and don't start doing the same now Melburnians, otherwise I won't be able to find parking ;) ...kidding...
