Colourful...

I picked up some colour sample swatches from the printer today... the story behind these colours is that I decided to jump out of my comfort zone and get some sample colours mixed in pastel tints...because there are people that like pastel colours...right? The colours are printed on a lighter base cloth of organic cotton and hemp. I'm not a pastel girl at all, but I'm quite happy with these swatches...what do you think?

It's old news since both the other ladies have already blogged about it, but yes I will be part of the Bamakko 'Screened' Exhibition as well. The opening night is on Saturday the 19th of April 6-9pm, 358 Victoria Street, North Melbourne.

Here's some of the work I prepared for the exhibition.
