Floating top...

I made myself a top today. from a japanese magazine. with only a pattern and instructions that I can't read. am quite pleased with it. my first attempt to sewing clothes and 'reading' patterns. I might wear it tomorrow. and take another picture.

clumsy...

Yesterday evening clumsy me bumped her knee as I was walking out the balcony doors...don't ask me how I did it, but I did it. After a while the knee got bigger and bigger and walking was becoming more of a problem so I decided to go to bed as I was pretty much useless anyway. Marcel suggested putting 'emu oil' on it, which sounds like something Australian but it is actually Chinese. Well, fine...bring it on.
Not sure if that was such a good idea. It did bring down the swelling but during the night I pretty much reached the highest temperatures ever reached by mankind. I couldn't sleep most of the night because it felt like my skin was on fire... I got up a few times to put ice on it which helped for a little while. I'm still not sure if I have a fever or if it's the 'emu oil'...let's hope it's the last, but I'm feeling pretty weak today and I still can't walk properly. booo

Luckily the postman cheered me up with a delivery...
